This sounds like a great idea! There are many Aussie corps scattered about the place and it would be awesome to have a site/forums where we could all come together. In time, this could even form the basis for alliances and NAPs.

I'm continuing to do this (and happy to have the chance to bump this thread).

Aussie and NZ'er public forums would be at the top of my list.
It would also be great to simply build a list of Aussie and NZ'er players and corps.
While not really a feature, you'll need a name (like your "ANZ" tag) that includes all Aussies and NZ'ers and which won't be confused with being part of any one Aussie or NZ corporation or alliance. While not a great example, you might consider a name along the lines of The Antipodean Association - Clicky. I'm sure you'll come up with something better than that though.
Depending on how you host the web-site, you might even consider hosting voice comms channels for smaller corps (for a fee to help pay for the site).

- Provide ideas about the issues our time zones cause us and what could be done by us to fix it.
Well we lack ISD run events in our time zone so the site might encourage Antipodeans to apply to join ISD.
While daily DT occurs in our prime gaming time, the site might point out some of the advantages to playing immediately before or after DT.
The site might also be used to advertise to European and US corps that Aussie and NZ corps make good alliance members to ensure a 23 hour a day security presence (ie to fill the time when they are sleeping/working). However, it would be better IMO if the site could be used to foster an alliance of Aussie and NZ corps. These two ideas are probably at loggerheads.
Well that's just a few very quick (and hopefully not totally lame) thoughts but I will try to give this some more serious thought.
I hope you get this off the ground Mik. I think you're bound to do very well with the support of Sharmina and ANZA! BTW, I really like the new ANZA site Sharmina - looking good!

A bump for an awesome idea!
I'd be happy to help out if I can Mik. Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with setting up or maintaining web-sites! I could however help out with proof-reading and writing and/or forum moderation (although my free time is haphazard and irregular).
Another feature I think would be good, would be a graph (as seen on some fan sites) which shows how many people are logged into EVE. This can be useful when you're waiting to see when EVE comes back online after an unscheduled or extended DT. Would that be hard to do?

LOL! Nope! But then again, I'm allergic to the little blighters!
I have been known to use a Tim Tam as a coffee straw though!
It looks like you're getting some great numbers on the website Mik!
